Christa Elaine is an FEI competitor and trainer who grew up riding and training horses. She graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science with emphasis in equine studies. 




She has 20+ years experience as a professional horse trainer and a diverse background which includes many different breeds and .disciplines including western, hunter/jumper, driving, showing in-hand, halter breaking, stallion handling, exhibitions, starting horses under saddle and specifically dressage.  Her expertise lies in starting young horses, which includes in-hand work and developing impeccable ground manners, as well as, training horses through the levels of dressage and has a special talent and passion for musical freestyle.  Christa Elaine has spent the last 13 years training for a breeding farm, so she has an immense experience with all ages and stages of training and all levels of dressage including stallion management and handling.  She has competed on an extensive number of horses in Championship classes and winning numerous Rocky Mountain Dressage Society (RMDS) and .United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Championship titles, national rankings, FEI Young Horse competitions, Horse of the Year Awards, and Breed Awards, including musical freestyle.  She has achieved the prestigious USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals as well as her Bronze, Silver, and Gold Musical Freestyle Bars.

For the past 13 years Christa Elaine was the sole trainer for Skelton Mountain Dream Ranch (a PRE breeding facility located in Bellvue, .CO).  While employed, she helped guide them to national top breeder rankings by the United States Equestrian Federation. During that time she received a comprehensive education from elite trainers in the business including Hilda Gurney, Michael Klimke, Scott Hassler, Kathleen Raine, Betsy Steiner, Manuel Trigo, RaeAnn Cook, Debbie Riehl-Rodriguez, and especially Janet “Dolly” Hannon (of whom has been her personal coach throughout every stage of training and competition).

Christa Elaine has a passion for teaching people to ride and train their .horses.  She has a unique ability to not only teach technical skills, but specifically knows how to develop “feel” of the movements.  Her desire is to help you have a harmonic working relationship with your equine partner and achieve your personal goals.
