Welcome to the Lazy J Bar S Ranch, LLC. We represent ourselves as “the Finest Horse Boarding Stable Facility in Colorado.” We are confident that when you know us a little better, you’ll agree. When you board your horse with us, you’ll be entitled to a wide range of services and amenities that are provided by the most knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff in the business.
History
Jon and Susanne Stephens established the Rocky Mountain Lazy J Bar S Ranch in 1975. Originally the old Morey-Lewis cattle ranch, this facility became the Rocky Mountain Lazy J Bar S Ranch in 1975 and emerged as a breeding, race, and performance training 
center. In 1987, the ranch became a boarding facility. Located on 326 acres South of Loveland, Colorado, the Lazy J provides a true country environment while still convenient to the Front Range horse boarding public.
To ensure the ranch remains an oasis on the Front Range, the ranch was placed in a Conservation Easement, which precludes the ranch from ever being developed. in 2000
