Welcome to the Lazy J Bar S Ranch. We bill ourselves as “the Finest Horse Boarding Stable Facility in Colorado.” We are confident that when you know us a little better, you’ll agree. When you board your horse with us, you’ll be entitled to a wide range of services and amenities that are provided by the most knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff in the business.
Don't let our lobby fool you.This facility is all about horses. The Rolls Royce is simply meant to symbolize the quality and attention to detail that you will find here.

People ride for many reasons, so we provide a wide variety of training services to fit your needs. Whether you are interested in Dressage, Jumping, Driving, or beginning lessons for your children, we have a trainer on our staff who can help. Sandy Schleiffers, the first Woman Jockey to ride and win in Colorado, is now providing training for all breeds of racehorses, and instruction for anyone wanting to learn the art of Exercising Race Horses and/or Riding Races. See more information
When you want to relax and ride just for fun you won’t have to go far. The Lazy J Bar S provides 13 km of riding trails at the ranch. Ride over to the fishing ponds and try your luck. We try to make our boarders feel like
family. Boarders have cooking privileges in our modern kitchen and access
to our lounge. A clean, modern restroom is available in the main barn.
